The BrandSource Scholarship aims to create enriching opportunities for both current and former foster youth who are enrolling in trade schools or apprenticeship programs. Foster Love firmly believes in the potential of foster youth to thrive in trade and technical fields, providing them with immediate access to the workforce and the chance to build a stable career.

The Orangewood Foundation Advanced Studies Fund (ASF) Scholarships offer financial assistance to college graduates who were formerly in foster care, supporting their pursuit of advanced studies. Eligible applicants can be considered for support up to the age of 30. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have been a dependent of Orange County, CA, placed in out-of-home care, or have a current association with Orangewood Foundation program services. Additionally, applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or certificate and be enrolling in an advanced degree.

The scholarship is intended as supplementary funding and may not cover all tuition, books, supplies, and living expenses. It provides essential financial support to students to help them achieve their educational goals. Please note that the application process is competitive, and submitting an application does not guarantee funding.

The David-E-Ballard-Scholarship was established in memory of David E. Ballard, supported by Inherit the Music, this scholarship of $10,000 is dedicated to assisting youth who have faced homelessness and/or were part of the foster care system, pursuing a career in live entertainment. Eligible fields of study include, but are not limited to, live event operations, production, music engineering, music business management, customer service, hospitality, and related areas.

To be eligible, applicants must be full-time undergraduate students with a minimum of 60 earned credits, currently enrolled at an accredited college or university during the fall semester when the award is granted. They must be pursuing a career in live entertainment. Those who have experienced homelessness within the last four years and/or were in foster care any time after the age of sixteen can apply. Additionally, applicants must be permanent residents of the U.S. and possess a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Award Amount: The scholarship award of $10,000 will be disbursed directly to a qualified educational institution in two equal payments of $5,000, distributed across at least two academic semesters.
